ART TRIP TO Oulu

European culture capital 2026

Finally, it’s time for another art trip with Havremagasinet’s Friends! This time, we’re heading to Oulu, European Capital of Culture 2026!

The trip will only go ahead if at least 20 people register. The bus has a maximum capacity of 45 passengers.

PROGRAMME: Saturday, 21 November

9:00 AM Departure by bus from Havremagasinet

10:30 AM–12:45 PM (Swedish time) Visit to the Aine Art Museum, including lunch
Exhibitions by Nina Vanas, Liisa Rautiainen, Olli Simola and Hannes Turakka

1:00 PM Guided tour at Galleria Tila of the exhibition Between River and Sea by Katarina Spik Skum and Johanna Minde

1:45 PM (Swedish time) Departure by bus for Oulu

4:30 PM (Finnish time) Arrival in Oulu
Check-in at the hotel

5:00–6:30 PM Art walk at Oulu’s Light Festival

6:30 PM Group dinner at Tamada restaurant
– Followed by an optional evening activity.

Sunday, 22 November

9:00 AM Breakfast at the hotel

10:00 AM–12:00 PM Visit to Oulu Art Museum and current Oulu2026-related exhibitions

12:00 PM Lunch in the city

1:00 PM Visit to Photo North

2:00 PM Coffee break

3:00 PM Art walk at the Light Festival (part 2)

4:00 PM Departure for Boden and Havremagasinet
Arrival at approximately 8:30 PM (Swedish time)

COST – SEK 2,500 per person

The price includes return bus travel, accommodation at Scandic Oulu City (including breakfast), and the planned programme for Saturday and Sunday!

Please note that all other lunches and dinner are at your own expense.
