Welcome to a fun and challenging spoken word workshop! Here you will have the opportunity to develop your writing, learn more about spoken word poetry and get tips and advice on how to capture an audience. For two hours, Josefin Şîlan Karlsson will lead you into creative writing for the stage with a focus on spoken word poetry. Shorter and longer writing exercises are interspersed with performance exercises. Whether you are a curious beginner, a happy amateur or a professional writer or artist, new knowledge, tips and tricks but a lot of playfulness and writing fun are promised!

WORKSHOP LEADER

Josefin Şîlan Karlsson (Vides) is the winner of the Swedish Poetry Slam Championship individually in 2016 and as a team in 2018, a multi-published poet and illustrator, and has written plays for Riksteatern. She can also be heard on Tankar för dagen in P1 and is currently working on the stage poetry performance Röster/Rötter, which will tour in autumn 2024.
