OPEN STAGE?

Do you want to read on an open stage? Read a poem, tell a few jokes, or tell a real-life robbery story.
Limited number of seats, 5 min per person.

TAKE PART IN THE COMPETITION?

You need three self-written poems in any language. Props/instruments are not allowed.

EMCEE: Josefin Silan Karlsson

With a deft hand and stage presence, Josefin Şîlan Karlsson leads us through the thrilling competition. As Norrbotten’s permanent EMCEE and self-proclaimed bullshitter of rank, she promises laughter, speed, flavour and a lot of unnecessary knowledge.

GUEST: Joakim Jakobsson

Joakim had rock star dreams, but without a singing voice or talent for instruments, only writing remained. Influenced by the indie punk scene in Luleå, Joakim performs self-deprecating poems that contain both a large portion of melancholy and attempts to find humour and flashes of light in the darkest moments.
In 2015 Joakim was crowned Norrbotten champion after three consecutive years of making it to the final.
