KONSTPUNKTEN
For children and youth
Week 15 means it’s finally time for the Easter holiday in Boden!
From April 8–10, Havremagasinet is hosting two different workshops:
Stop motion animation with clay is a technique where you create a film by moving clay little by little and taking a photo each time. When all the images are shown quickly in sequence, it looks like the clay is moving on its own. During the workshop, we’ll explore what can grow from a seed, and turn the results into short animations using a mobile camera.
Age: 8–99 years
Materials: Clay
Location: The studio on the 3rd floor
Remember to bring a mobile phone to take photos!
Make your own pot from recycled materials and plant a sunflower! The workshop is led by Irene Andersson from Team Fantasteri.
Materials: Thick paper, paint pucks, Tetra Pak cartons, newspaper, beans, peas, lentils
Age: 2–7 years (younger children accompanied by a parent)
Location: The café on the ground floor
Both workshops run from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
You are free to come and go between the workshops in the building throughout the day, and no pre-registration is required.
Havremagasinet opens already at 12:00 PM if you want to arrive early to visit the exhibitions or enjoy an Easter pastry in the café! If you’re in the mood for lunch, the pancake bar is open with toppings such as berries, jams, whipped cream, or creamy mushroom stew.
Tip! On Wednesday, April 8 at 12:00 PM, art educator Lotta Enström will also give a guided tour of the current exhibitions.
