Guest performance from FYLKINGEN
Saturday 29 March at 18.00-21.00
The legendary artist-run association Fylkingen is sent out as satellites throughout the country and on 29 March Fylkingen visits Havremagasinet. There will be experimental and innovative music as well as a short introduction about Fylkingen’s activities over the years. Fylkingen is one of the world’s oldest forums for new music and intermediate art but is still at the centre of a dynamic development. The activities are characterised by artistic mixed forms and the association currently has around 150 active members, all of whom are professional artists working in various art fields such as electroacoustic music, dance, video, chamber music, performance, light and visual art.
Entrance fee 100 SEK
Everyone up to 20 years old has free entry
The admission includes the opportunity to see Havremagasinet’s two ongoing exhibitions, With Open Eyes – Elisabeth Moritz and Victory over the Victory – curated by Sona Stepanyan and Natasha Dahnberg. The performance will take place in Café Pampas where drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.
The guest performance at Havremagasinet is part of Fylkingen’s Satellites project, the aim of which is to make Fylkingen’s activities available throughout the country. Satellites is supported by the Swedish Postcode Lottery Foundation and is organised by the cultural association Kluster, Norrbotten’s association & scene for contemporary art music and Havremagasinet Länskonsthall.
