SMART SUSTAINABLE HOMES

The design group at Luleå University of Technology and Havremagasinet invites you to a workshop exploring and speculating about the human living experience in future smart sustainable homes. What is the role of the sensorial and embodied experience with respect to our “smartening” world? With four human senses in focus (seeing, hearing, touching, smelling) alongside a playful prototyping process, we offer the opportunity for you to imagine new ways of living.

The project is part of the research and innovation program “Design for an energy efficient everyday life,” funded by the Swedish Energy Agency and coordinated by SVID, the Swedish Industrial Design Foundation.
