Harvest Festival & Environment Days

During Skördefest and Miljödagarna we invite you to a drop-in workshop where the theme HOME is in focus. Prior to the weekend, Havremagasinet’s resident artist Miguel Jara, together with Save the Children, has created pieces with the same theme. These will be shown for the first time in the Havremagasinet tent.

Come and create with us in the Havremagasinet tent together with Miguel Jara and Havremagasinet’s art teacher Lotta Enström.

Miguel Jara, is a multidisciplinary artist, cultural producer and researcher with a strong interest in pedagogy, perception and the emotional power of art.

Jara directs Submarina MX, a nomadic platform for environmental education, and Estudio Pneuma, an art animation and video studio in Mexico City. His works and projects have been exhibited in several festivals and institutions in America and Europe, especially in Mexico and the Netherlands. Jara, born in Colombia, is now based in Mexico City.

Skördefest & Miljödagar is one of the region’s largest meeting and market places for food production, craftsmen, environmental companies, health companies and cultural workers with a focus on local production.
