Through animation, we can bring objects to life and create new worlds directly from our own imagination. During the workshop you will get a practical introduction to how to make basic stop-motion animations, as well as several exercises of other techniques. Which technique would you like to explore?

Miguel Jara is a multidisciplinary artist, cultural producer, and researcher who, among other things, directs Estudio Pneuma – an independent animation and video studio in Mexico City, which focuses on integrating visual poetry into its productions for musicians and other clients.

Jara’s work and projects have been exhibited in several festivals and institutions in America and Europe, especially in Mexico and the Netherlands.
