ART, CONVERSATION, CAKE AND CONCERT!
Saturday 12 October is the opening of two new exhibitions at Havremagasinet Länskonsthall Boden: Hemskspråket with Meira Ahmemulić, curated by Patrik Haggren and Daniel Terres, and Langsom dvale mot nye stråler av liv with the artist duo KVAE & BARK, curated by Mikael Andersson and Erik Törnkvist.
Havremagasinet welcomes journalist and cultural critic Anahita Ghazinezam, known for her book, Våld: om träd och slöjd och män. In the afternoon, there will be an artist talk between Ghazinezam and Meira Ahmemulić, where we will also have an exclusive screening of Ahmemulić’s video work “Modermålsmord” (2022).
The opening day ends with an intimate concert in café Pampas with Petter Alatalo – Dumskallarnas vind.
‘You are young, you are a dreamer. You have Tornedalen in your blood, punk in your heart, intoxication in your head. You go out into the big world without an address, income, money or future. The world is big and longing is your best friend. Then you grow up, move home, become a father, and there are consequences. And in it, music is written: the album ‘Dumskallarnas vind’ – Petter Alatalo.
Petter Alatalo – Vocals, piano
Kalle Nyman – Double bass
