Ingvar jigrud-scholarship
The application for the Ingvar Jigrud Scholarship of SEK 10,000 is now open. The scholarship is awarded every other year in memory of the artist Ingvar Jigrud, whose paintings are currently on view at Havremagasinet in the exhibition BODENSKOLAN TAKES THE PLACE – in the public and private.
Together with Tommy and Raija Jigrud and Sunderby Folk High School, Havremagasinet will select one applicant who contributes to the development of art and culture in the north.
to apply, you must
Be a working artist
Have studied at Sunderby Folk High School
The application must include
A description of your artistic practice and your future plans for the continued development of your work (maximum 1 page)
Visual material of some of your works
Name, address, website, phone number, and email address
All materials should be compiled into a single PDF and emailed to info@havremagasinet.se. Please mark the email subject line: Application Ingvar Jigrud Scholarship.
The application is open until February 22nd. We will get back to you with a decision during week 10 2026.
