SIGNAL
Exhibition with Stage Production, Interdisciplinary Art (LTU)
A warm welcome to the opening of two new exhibitions and a new textile studio on Friday, February 6, 2026! This vernissage will be a full evening at Havremagasinet. We’ll celebrate with Friday tacos, a guided tour with the artists present, a presentation of WARP & THREAD including loom bookings (!!), and we’ll round off the evening with two concerts by Olle Oljud and Aleatoriska Ensamblen. And of course, the Havrebar will be open throughout the evening!
From a transmitter to a receiver. A message, a hut, a system error, a state, an experience.
A signal is sent out—sometimes it gets through, sometimes it goes beeeep booooop – SIGNAL ERROR. Hello?
The third-year Bachelor students in Stage Production – Interdisciplinary (Luleå University of Technology) have explored and related to the theme PLAY through various questions, materials, and media, each from their own personal perspectives and interests.
An exhibition exploring longing, displacement, and transition—between places, times, and states.
In the meeting between permanence and transience, historical material is set against contemporary, temporary ideals. Traces of migration, cultural loss, or shimmering childhood memories turn the home into an idea in constant motion, as elusive as the longing for belonging.
Together, the works form a continuum of body, identity, and landscape in transformation.
During the evening, WARP & THREAD, Havremagasinet’s new textile studio, will be presented with artist Ida Isak Westerberg as mentor. During the event, registration opens for booking looms in two-week periods – don’t miss it!
We hope the studio will become a new inspiring meeting place in Boden during 2026.
Olle Oljud
Born in Dalarna, based in Gävle. Works with various things—mostly music and art, but also performance, video, and dance.
The music is mostly built electronically using self-made instruments, effects, and voice.
Olle Oljud moves within an abstract musical tradition—contemporary art music, noise, and improvisation.
Performs both solo and with others, recently often with Den Provisionella Ansambeln.
Aleatoriska Ensamblen combines electronics and acoustic objects, letting aleatorics guide the course of events.
Deep listening anchors the resulting sound worlds (the music) in both free improvisation and noise.
TIP! – On Saturday, February 7
Aleatoriska Ensamblen and Olle Oljud will hold a sounding workshop in the café – more information coming soon.
The event is organized in collaboration with UiT The Arctic University of Norway – Tromsø Academy of Fine Art, Luleå University of Technology – Stage Production, Interdisciplinary Art, and Kulturföreningen Kluster.
